World cup ahead, good luck to all participants.
This time Spain is not so favourite as usual…their players have already won everything and there are other younger teams still hungry for the championship (Belgium, Brazil, Germany...who knows the winner? We will see it in few weeks).
However, there is another championship being played, and the competition here is also fierce. We talk about investments. We talk about countries where investors are heading their money into...On June the 13th I went to a congress in Madrid Bourse. There I had the chance to hear the recommendations from Pioneer Investments, Franklyn Templeton Investments and some others. Senior staff from those companies told me which countries are their Funds based in actually; and why. Those countries are as they follow:
1. USA. The country is slowly growing again, hence it is attracting back attention of major investors. Special mention to FRACKING. This new technology, despite its enviromental inconvenience, is improving the Rating of the US: More investors are willing to settle a factory in the States as they would have a source of cheap energy nearby.
2. Japan. Japan is changing their laws for the better. Their economy is heading to a higher consumption. And more consumption means more growth.
3. India. As they have recently changed their president, the economic and financial regulation in this land is going to change also in the short term. Keep an eye on its performance.
Want to hear more details about companies from those countries? Have your banker recommended any other place? If you want a second opinion, just ask! It`s always a pleasure to help ;)
